How to Do : Stained Glass? (1/8 illustration board)

 

I chose this kind of activity because it was easy and fun to do (especially when you have company while doing this kind of activity wherein you can talk about anything and everything under the sun).
This time I am teaching you how to make a 'stained glass art' with 1/8 illustration board. But first what is a stained glass?

STAINED GLASS 

     It refers to colored glass as a material or to works created from it. Throughout its thousand  -year  history, the term has been applied almost exclusively to the windows of churches and other significant buildings. Although traditionally made in flat panels and used as windows, the creations of modern stained glass artists also include three-dimensional structures and sculpture. Stained glass, as an art and a craft, requires the artistic skill to conceive an appropriate and workable design, and the engineering skills to assemble the piece.

 

  Things Needed:

 * 1/8 Illustration Board (2)
 * Cellophane (3-4 different colors)
 * Cutter
 * Scissors
 * Marker
 * Pencil
 * Glue / Paste




Procedure:  

           First, draw your desired object on the illustration board using your pencil. Make sure that you handle your pencil gently, so that when you are not so sure with your drawing you can erase it easily with out any marks.

                  Next step, after finalizing your desired object. Cut the other parts that needs to be patched by those colored cellophane. You can now trace your cut object into the other illustration board. Then after that you are now ready to add life and color with your craft!

                                 

  

           To make things easier, trace the cellophane unto the cut illustration board and get it's shape. After that cut the traced shape and attached to the illustration board using glue or paste (when using paste I prefer to use toothpick so that your art work will maintain it's cleanliness and the cellophane won't be crumpled as well). Repeat this steps until your work is finished! 
 

Lastly, take a picture with your fabulous artwork!

                               ^ Sila ang mga ka-crew ko! :') HAHAHA! kahit na kami ang pinaka-kulelat ehh sa tingin ko kami ang pinaka-close na grupo nung nag survival kami. Yung feeling na para lang kaming isang pamilya na magkaka-tabi sa tulugan, hati sa pagkain at sama-samang nahihirapan XD HAHAHA! , nakaka-MISS! Sabi ng iba mahirap daw kumuha ng Board Of  Review para maging Venturer, pero nung kami na ang magte-take ng exam, nagulat kaming lahat dahil kabaligtaran ng aming inaakala, Super dali lang naman pala! bastaa alam mo yung mga basic na knot-tying. After nung survival, isang malaking relief para sa amin, kasi pahinga muna kami sa mga campings dahil kailangan naman naming mag handa para sa mas mahirap na bakbakan sa pagkuha ng Board of Review para maging isang Eagle Scout!

Ako bilang isang Scout! :3

                         SCOUTING ... para sa akin, isa 'yan sa mga nag bigay kulay ng buhay ko bilang isang high school student. Kung saan marami akong natutunan, nakilalang bagong mga kaibigan, mas naging ka close sa ibang mga tao at nakaranas ng kung anu-ano pa! Para sa akin hindi ko pinag-sisisihan ang nag member ako bilang isang scout. Kahit na 'dyan ako nangitim ng bongga! at kung anu-ano pang nakaka-loka pero super sayang mga pangyayari. Syempre, super THANK YOU  rin sa mga nakasama ko at nag guide sa akin bilang isang scout! andyan na si Sir. Prince, Raffy, David at Sir. Roel , salamat sa inyo SIR'S! sa lahat ng mga natutunan ko at sa lahat ng mga kasabayan ko, I LOVE YOU all! Tulad ko, sana yung mga natutunan natin ay lagi nating maalala, at magamit. Ika nga-  "Once a scout, Always a scout" ! :))

2-FAITH

                  II-Faith ... yan ang section ko ngayon. With Ma'am Klarisse Abuel at kasama parin ang mga lumang ka-klase nung First Year (hindi naman lahat .. ung iba lang kasi ung iba nasa kabilang section naman). May ilang bago, ngunit masasabi kong mas masaya ako ngayong 2nd Year than my 1st Year in my High School Life. Kaseee .. feeling ko MAS BLESSED ako ngayon at lahat ay MASAYA lang :)))

 Ito ang section ko nung First Year pa ako , kahit na magulo ang sec. namin masaya naman   miss ko na nga ang buo kong mga ka-klase eh ! ung nagliliparang mga plastic na bote tuwing break time nyo. Tapos ang tunog ng 1/4 na papel kapag pinipilas dahil sa mga nag hihingian mong ka-klase at ang laging sermon ni Ma'am kapag meron nanaman kaming nasisira sa room (: hayyyyy ang bilis talaga ng panahon at ilang weeks na lng nga eh 2nd Year na kaming lahat  mag kakahiwalay man kami hindi parin namin makakalimutan ang isa't-isa ......... #iloveyou guys miss you :*  God Bless sa HS Life
